Default KX 125 clutch help ?

Im having some problems with the clutch on my 1985 KX 125.
When its in gear and I pull the clutch in its still turning the engine if i turn the the rear wheel.

Iv had the clutch plates out to check if they were seized together as its been standing a while, oiled them and tryed again.

    anyone know about these clutches?

SO are you rolling the bike or is the motor running. If you are rolling my 2000 kx 100 will not roll in gear when the clutch is in, but when i start it everythings great, sounds like the clutch plates might have frozen...

My 2003 Kx 125 is doing this too I think..

I'll get on it and have to start it in neutral, then when I tap the lever down into 1st my bike jolts like it wants to go right away so I have to rev high to prevent it from stalling.

I bought a new clutch kit from Tusk, so I'm going to throw that in once my new piston is broken in. Hopefully a new clutch kit will fix that.

well this could be a couple of diffrent things

    1. it could be the wrong oil/ or contaminated oil ... If the oil you are using is too thick it will cause th eplates to stick casuing the issue you have
    2. It is more than likley that you have misadjusted the clutch... this means that you have too much play in the clutch lever .... bl this when you pull the lever in it does not allow the clutch plates to seperate enough there is 2 adjustments on the cable ... one is on the handle itself the other is about 3/4 the way down the cable right above the case.
    3. It could also be something in the lever mechiniusm inside the case... on some models there is a rod and a small ball bearing that actually push the pressure plate away from the clutch plates .... if that rod or bearing wear just a little bit it will cause this also

The best thing i can adviselyou to do is pull the clutch apart look everything over really good and change the oil then readjust your lever hopefully that would fix it
You better watch out ....." IM COMMIN AT YOU LIKE A SPIDER MONKEY "

Good point i tore apart my clutch just to check it even though the clutch worked when the bike was started, usually i just barely have to give a little gas to keep the bike from wanting to jump, not alot though!
