4th gear problems

PLS IF ANY ONE CAN HELP ME ,IVE A 1992 KX 250 WITH 4TH GEAR PROBLEMS, IVE REPLACED SHAFTS,GEARS,SELECTOR FORKS ETC. BUT IT STILL JUMPS OUT OF 4th FORCING THE CIRCLIP HOLDING 4thGEAR IN PLACE TO MOVE DOWN THE SHAFT OUT OF ITS GROVE.

ANY HELP WOULD BE GREAT IM AT MY WITS END !!!!!!!!

make sure you have the SNAP-RINGS in the correct direction. they have a chamfered shoulder and you may have them backwards causing the cir-clip/snap-ring to slide up and out of its groove.
