cylinder centering pins

Hi all who,s farmiliar with the cylinder centering pins on a kx125 1999 model ?? im doing a top end rebuild and i need to replace the centering pins but i dont know the best way to take out the old ones , i tried removing them with a pair of pliers but no luck so i thought someone around here could give me a heads up on the matter??? thanks all

are u talking about the 2 dowel type things.

yes mine are in bad nik?? need to replace..

They should pull out with plier's but if not then give them a little heat.
