I mix gas as you use it so I carry a empty 5L oil container that has the Litre markings on the side and the fuel level can be read as you fill it up. From your big gas can, pour gas in up to 4L max (room to mix). Now add the oil, mix and pour in tank. (DO NOT STORE THE GAS IN THIS CONTAINER if its not a gas container) so only mix the amount you want to use. This way you always carry unmixed gas in an approved fuel container if sharing with 4 strokes etc.
For ratios 25ml oil/1000ml gas is 40:1, 20ml oil/1000ml gas is 50:1 32ml/1000ml gas is 32:1 (approx) I try to mix in 4L batches. Last edited by gaz : 07-20-2008 at 07:38 PM. |

dang, some of you guys are SLLLLOOOOWW.. hahahah thats alright though. check it out... 128oz to a gallon. 32:1 means 1 ounce of oil to every quart of gas. 4 quarts in a gallon. a gallon gets 4 oz of oil for 32:1. pretty self explanatory. I suck at math too so.... bust out your pencils and paper kids. haha. word.
