Default Well I did it this time

Well i had a painful reminder of why i wear all my gear while riding a motorcycle. Mind you, i was on a KX250 which is a bike that can stand on the rear wheel at 70mph easily. Anyways i was riding across a favorite little spot by my house and i decided i was gonna do a low wheelie over some cross ruts (at 50 MPH). The wheelie went well, it was the front tire catching a cross rut and locking that kicked my a$$. This resulted in me having roadrash on both arms and legs, i have very little skin on my right pinky knuckle, and my bike has about $1k in repairs. Thats very little for laying down a bike at 50MPH. Oh and i did this near a road and noone bothered to stop when they see a person sliding across the ground and a motorcycle tumbling across the field next to them. I was down for a good 20 seconds

Got pics?

I never do stuff like that. My friend died doing a doughnut in gravel on an ATV. His forward speed was essentially zero. The rear tires hooked, it popped a wheelie, and he was dumped off the back. NO HELMET.

Cracked his skull on the ground, he was knocked unconscious, came out of a coma two days later, back into a coma, and that was the end.

Easily over 80 mph stock, and geared up for long cross country races, mine has Done on GPS 112 MPH.

It weighs 1/3 what a street bike does, and makes the power that would have many street bikes jealous.

My kx 250 will waste an R1, ZX600, and cbr600 in acceleration up to 75 or so miles per hour....I know because we have all ligned up on the old airport runway and raced.
I then regeared mine that day we were racing and I could still pull them up to about 100MPH, then they could start to chase me down, and finally pass me when i ran out of revs.

My sweet new CR500 2 smoker with some extra goodies will easily pull taller gearing at 130 MPH.

And the acceleration is nuts, it wheelies to over 100MPH and then the front tire comes down and it just keeps pulling.

It will scare the crap out of my Yami R1 thats got some extra goodies, and is puffing NOS......considering the R! is a 4 stroke and cannot build revs as quickly, as is about as heavy as a tank in comparison to a 2 stroke motocrosser, it is not really a wonder it trounces even a hopped up R1.

I want to find a really good rider to put on my ZX14 when I get all the mods done to it I want to do.
And then get on my CR and see how badly it spanks my ZX14.
I know the 14 cannot run with my CR up to 100 MPH or so, I just want to see how badly the CR pulls away from it is all.

1/3 the weight? So my ZX636 weights 660lbs.? And a KX250 at 5lbs. per HP is going to make my 636 jealous at 4lbs. per HP?
