Default oil pump adjustment

Hello I have a 1981 KE 125. I changed the motor and it seems that it is injecting too much oil (it is smoking too much). When I changed the motor I adjusted the throttle cable so that as soon as I would give it some gas the injector control would also move. I am wondering if it should different. I dont know much about 2 strokes either though and just got the bike. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks Jeff

Default

It should move when you give it throttle, but it could be adjusted too rich. There's a little notch on the oil pump actuator that should line up with a notch on the oil pump housing. When the throttle valve start lifting, the notch on the actuator is supposed to leave the notch on the housing. Might not be very well explained, but hopefully it's understandable.

There's an adjustment screw on the oil pump cable.
