Default kx100 seized?

Hello guys...about 2 months ago i sold my buddy my 01 kx100...he is the type of person that doesnt really maintain his bikes...he probably didnt change the oil once since he had it...also he was using regular weed wacker 2 stroke oil in it....i kept telling him to run a more high performance 2 stroke oil thats made for these bikes....he told me its the same thing....so i just gotta call from him saying his son was riding the bike up and down the streets revving it really high and shifting to late...he said his son was pushing the bike back home and when he got back home the kick start would not move at all....so now my question is what exactly is seized? Is it the piston stuck in the top end or is it that the bottom end is shot??? Also what exactly does he need to get replaced and about how much is he looking at? Im gonna get the bike and pull off the top end and hopefully the piston didnt grenade and fall in the bottom end....sorry for the long post. Thanks in adance guys

Sounds like a top-end/ring seizure, a bottom end seizure is unlikely.

Normal 2 stroke oil isnt that bad, my bike has been running on it since I got it, the top end had about 25hours on it and it still ran but it cr@p compression, but running high performance is better for it.
