Your vin number should be on the neck of the frame where the forks connect on the side in a vertical position. The engine should match the year on the VIN unless someone has completely removed and swapped engines!

For the engine number, look close to where the kickstarter goes into the engine. It will be on the top of the engine. Post the numbers.

found it guys thanx! Its an 86.So now where do i find an impellar.Question #2 Where can i find an impellar shaft for this year? The local shop here in town says the discontinued it! I've tried to order it from bikebandits and they say they said they cant find it and would refund my money in 20 business days if they cant find it! Do i have any other options besides ebay where i can't find it either.I am trying to replace a waterpump seal and that impellar because i was told i had water in my oil.

Look on eBay for a used one. You may even stumble across a new one. I am always constantly searching on there for parts for my old bike (ok, bikes).
