'93 kx 125 clutch problem

hey everyone. i just bought a 93 kx125. the bike runs great but i am having some clutch problems. i took the clutch cover off and noticed the basket has tons of notches in it. i was wondering if anyone has any tips for installing a new basket and clutch plates. any help would be greatly appreciated. also what would be the easiest way to remove the clutch nut? everytime i try to loosen it the engine turns.

Look on the Motion Pro site for the clutch holding tool. If the notches are light, you may be able to file them down once, but it is a band-aid solution. A new basket, though costly, is a better solution.

If you don't already have a manual, I recently saw one on eBay for $5.

the notches are real bad ill try to get some pics up if i can. the basket definitly needs to be replaced. i dont wanna risk messing anything else up. it would be real expensive if the tranny or something went. so fixing the clutch is the route i wanna go. also i was wondering would something like an impact wrench work for taking the nut on and off? also this is off topic but i have a new seal for the water pump shaft like under the impeller. how do i get that nut off? the engine turns when i turn that. would an impact wrench work for this too cause i am considering buying one but i wanna hear what ppl have to say first.
