2001 kx250 need help!!!!

I spun my connecting rod bearing at the crankshaft and I am looking for a manual to rebuild the engine and I can not seem to find one for a 2001 any sugestions? All I can find is a clymer manual for 92-2000. I do know that alot of the parts are interchangeable from 99-02 so I am thinking the 92-2000 manual will work but I would like to know for sure or if there is a manual for the 01 and newer? I was having the same problem and everyone I talked to said the Clymer 92-00 will be applicable to the '01' motor...

yes i believe that the 2000 manuel will work for the motor. i know the frame is different and the way the motor mounts is different ,but the motor is the same. it should serve your purpose.

the kawasaki shop manual covers models kx125/kx250 from 1999 to 2002. Its worth the purchase and its not expensive but I had to wait about 6 weeks for a reprint to be sent out. It cost about Aus$60.00.

Get the Kawasaki manual. It is for 1999 - 2002 KX125 and KX250. Rocky Mountain MC has them a little cheaper than some other places I have seen. I got mine from them.
