Trying to figure out Year of KX125

I just bought a Kx125 they guy said was 89 but can't find anything that would tell me that for sure and need to get some parts engine KX125FE10047 any help would be appreciated. Just starting to get going and want to start ridding again after 20 some years. Also rebuilding a 1973 F7 at same time so will have fun next year I hope and maybe even this year. Thanks in advance for any Help. I have searched for web sites that might give me the information but no luck.

Post a picture of it, also 1989 was the only year with 46mm forks

Go to the owner's info page on the Kawasaki website, and choose owners manuals, warranty & more. Welcome to Kawasaki.com
and you can enter the VIN#, and it will tell you the year make and model.

After doing some searching on here found a web site someone had given out and based on number is a 89. and think I found gears I need to get this fixed and running. Thanks for everyones help.
