Angry how to tell what year my bike is

hi just new to site im trying to find what year my kx250 is as i need some parts to fix it i have tried the dealer but got some school kid who didnt have a clue thanx.

Have you got full Frame No.? Usually goes JKA KX ### ## and a load or random numbers (well not random but unessesary as far as i'm concerned as its the bikes unique id. no)

# = The letter that identifies the age.
For example: JKAKX125LK-895044 = 1989 KX125

By any chance is your bike off eBay? That if anything is your engine number and for an engine number it looks dodgy. Its been ground and restamped if that is the number on the head tube indicating that theres somthing dodgy to hide.

Any chance of a picture? It may help us.

You have a phantom bike if thats the frame number.
