Default Just installed motor.

Well we took the motor out because the oil drain bolt snapped off in the block. took it to a shop and they got it out. Put everything back on and ready to start it. What type oil should i use ? I put the rest of the motor oil in it that came with it but i want to make sure i get good motor oil in it as the label peeled off the container. Also i started it today for a few minutes and it seemed like it was rattlein inside the motor a little. Its a Kxf 250. i listend to a video of one at rev like mine was and it seemed the same but i want to make sure nothing is wrong with the motor. Just in case

Its a

2002 Kxf 250. Any more info needed just post a reply. Thanks in advance.

There wasn't a 2002 KXF250. Do you have a two-stroke KX250?? The four stroke version did not come out until 2004. It is called KX250F.

You will get one different answer from everyone who responds. Everyone has their own favorite. It's like asking which bikini clad hottie is the hottest out of 1,000 choices.

I rebuild them and run them myself....its my specialty to rebuild 2 strokes.

I have seen the damage from crap oil.

And IMO there are only 2 oils worth running.

Blue Marble , and Amsoil interceptro or dominator......well technically thats 3, but the last two are both amsoil synthetics.

40:1 ratio.
