first, put in a brand new plug, dont try to clean it. most of the time I have a hard time starting it, just changing the plug takes care of it, especially if you know it is fouling anyway. that is what I go by on when to change the plug, when it starts getting hard to start, put a new one in. FYI, if you go somewhere like orielies, they are like a buck 50, instead of almost 5 bucks at the dealer

If u replaced rings you should start with compression check, it takes 3 things to run fuel fire and compression.
