Hey all, I'm new to this forum, and may be asking a repetative question, so sorry if this has been covered. My son is in the process of switching to the 65cc class from the 50cc class. He's riding a KTM Pro Sr., and doing very well with it. Anyway, I have him trying out an '04 KX 65, and I...

I Have A 1986 Kx500 Dirt Bike That Stops Running When It Reaches Normulal Opperating Tempuerature. The Bike Came With No Cdi Or C Oil. I Put A 1989 Cdi On And A Aftermarket Coil On And Noticed A Very Weak Spark When I Was Done. Like I Said The Bike Runs Until It Reaches Normanal Opperating...
We have an 03 KX 125 that I just purchased for my son. When we got the bike, it seemed to run fine. He rode most of the evening with his friends, almost 2 tanks of fuel, mixed @ 36:1. The next day he calls me and says he's stranded, the bike won't start. I go out and find out that the bike will...
i was looking for a new clutch kit for my 93 kx125 and i saw on some exploded diagrams that there are different size friction plates. i was just wondering if this was true or not? would it matter if i put in all the same size friction plates?
Has anyone heard of an AMR coil? And if so are they any good? They advertise that they deliver up to 34% more spark and better throttle reponse, but I have serious doubts... The only thing that I am considering is that this coil and a stock coil are about the same $$. Thanks

Hi, would really like to know if a 90 KX250 bore has a (nickel?) coating, can it be bored to an oversize or will it need to be re-sleeved? I read somewhere they can be repaired and re-coated. Any thoughts would be appreciated.
Hey guys...new here so hopefully you can help before I committ myself. My sons 03' KX85 started to miss..it'd be on the pipe then bog terribly. I found that the crank bearing on the flywheel side had alot of play in it causing the flywheel to actually hit the crank sensor... So I split the...

I do most of my riding {'01' KX250} in some tight, technical, woods. The problem comes when shifting from 1st to 2nd, and back under power, it constantly hits neutral instead. I know the KX tranny is pretty well known for this problem. Does anyone have any ideas to the cause or remedy? I've read...
I replaced my front brake pads. The old pads were definitely worn. New pads are obviously much thicker. Now the wheel will not spin freely on its own. I even removed the front wheel and adjusted the pinch bolts. Still no luck. The pressure is fine, Could it be that I just need to ride on it for a...
