u get starred at?

hey I was wonderin if u bikers get starred at - freqently --- not by other bikers but by cagers? cagers driving from all directions - next 2 u, opposite road of u, while they're stopped or ur stopped & their movin whatever all of that. it's a normal thing 4 me 2 be starred at a lot. just yesterday i was starred @ heavy. 5 minutes wouldn't go by with being starred at. im not talking about just a glance attention is on u

some people are just jealous that were having so much fun... or really mad that we get better gas mileage LOL

either way, i think its cool to be starred at...especially since im usually the only geared up rider around! maybe they stare because im different.

Yeah, little kids wave and point. That's cool. Of course I always wave back. They'd see me smiling at them if it weren't for the ff helmet.

yeah i often times get stared at (just clearing that up), especially in my rural area of residence, sportbikes are the minority compared to others.

i dont really have chicks wave at me. doesnt matter to me, im taken anyways! but if i werent...well i still think id have more fun on my bike. when i treat it bad, it never complains

California girls LOVE sportbikes. I've even had a few of my female employees bring in their cameras and have me take a picture of them sitting on my bike so they can post the picture on their MySpace.

Was sitting at a stoplight the other, while the cross-traffic was going by a cruiser comes by with his girl on the back. She didn't give me the quick two finger down wave.. no.. she gave me a half turn and one hand full up waving like a mom seeing her kid at graduation.

Kids love to see any bike I think, I always give 'em a wave and a nod.

Yeah I get starred at tons when i'm at red lights, but i'd rather get starred at when were all driving...haha that way I don't get hit! No kids and chicks love bike its that we have balls!

A couple of weeks ago I pulled up to my sister-in-law's house where there were a bunch of kids playing and adults talking. It was a graduation party for the niece and nephew that finished preschool (yeah I know, I never heard of a graduation for preschool before this). Well, I pulled up and this one three y/o boy who is a friend of the graduates froze and just looked at me. My wife told him that I was the Black Ranger (black bike, all completely black gear from the boots on up). He was shy and my wife told me to keep the helmet on and to talk to him like the Black Ranger. He was shy until I asked if he wanted to sit on the bike. He didn't at first so I told him it was okay and I picked him up. He lit up like a Christmas tree! Then I took a couple of pics with him; told him to do a Karate chop pose, then a thumbs up pose. When I took him off of the bike, I told him to listen to his mom and to eat his vegetables. He said that he would and ran off happy. My wife made me keep my helmet on until I got into the house. Of course all of the other kids knew that it was just me.

Kids are a lot of fun.

I've only been riding for 2 days now. Most I've gotten was people waving as they drive by. And one guy who was pointing at some thing like he wanted me to look at it o.0 I looked but seen nothing I cared about.
