Unhappy Silly fuel pump question

Wasn't sure if i should post it here or in the sticky.. newbs like me are allowed to fumble for the first few post right?

What i wanted to know:

Is the fuel Pump off a ZX6 is the same/interchangeble with a ZX10 / ZX11?

It would make my life easier if they where, the pics i could find on ebay look similar

Best thing I could say is ask a dealer if they are... I'm not sure myself...

You can check part numbers on Kawasaki's website and compare the two.

Thumbs up

zx10tod

I went on the site and the part number for a ZX6R and a ZX11R where both 49040 The last digits where different (49040-1057, 49040-1061) but the both diagrams did not list the last 4 digits and they had a different set of parts (hose/filter etc)

Now i need to get some data on PSI, Flow rate and Amp draw

The part number in the list is the one you want. I believe the one in the diagram is just a group number. It's the same for a lot of years. The pump for my 1988 ZX10 is not compatible with others that had the same first 5 digits. Mine's 4 wire, most others are 2.

The wire or plug shape isn't the problem... that i can change i just need to know if they have the same flow rating and PSI
