Ninja ZX600/ZX750 Ignition Switch Interchangeability

hello i have a 89 ninja zx750 and i was wondering if the Ninja ZX600(88-97) would be compatable because i have the option to purchase it.
it looks similar from the picture ( its on ebay - Ignition switch ebay auction

can anyone tell me if it will work?

lost your keys? or has the switch gone bad? Just Curious. I had a problem with my ignition switch in my 98 ZX7R. I took it apart (drilled the screw stubs out and removed the back plate) and fixed the broken wire. Other than that... I’m guessing it wouldn’t bee too hard to cross match the wires. So I would get the switch if you have the money. Just my thoughts. If you could get your hands on the technical manual of your bike then you could look up the wire color codes… There is not much to the ignition system (power on/off).
