OK. It's time for a new rear tire. If I have the whole thing done at the local Kawasaki dealer, it's gonna cost me $160! That's just about what it would cost me to have 2 tires replaced on my car.
So, just what is involved in removing and replacing the rear wheel on a 500R? Do I have to be careful about spacing or alignment or does everything just fit back in place? TIA.

the manual under your seat and the tools will get your rear wheel on and off.
Basically, you loosen the chain, you remove the axle, and then drop the wheel out. reverse the steps and align your chain when you get the new tire put on.
