Default ZX-6R Mirrors

Can anyone with these mirrors tell me if there is any distortion on your mirrors. I have some pretty bad distortion on a pair of new mirrors that I bought from an online store. Wnat to know if thats normal for this shape mirror, or if I just have bad mirrors and should send em back. Thanks.

Mine seem to vibrate pretty badly, esp. at higher rpms. But, I can't really see out of them anyway without doing some weird yoga move to look around my body, so it doesn't bother me too much. I don't rely on my mirrors for much at all, except for a quick, vague glimps.

Personaly I like the CRG hind sight and hind sight LS mirrors that mount on the handle bar. Then you can get rid of the ugly stock ones and put a mirror block off in chrome or the color of you choice in their place.

I recently bought and installed Emgo ZX6R mirrors on my 500R and haven't noticed any distortion. Haven't been looking for it closely either though. Haven't had any problems with them. Don't know about your ZX6R stock mirrors though because I have a 500R. :p

I replaced a right side mirror on my old Zephyr with a cheapie the dealer had in stock. It was $15 compared to $60 for the OEM mirror. But the difference in the 2 was amazing to me. The cheap was....well it was one! Looked very blury and distorted around the edges. The OEM on the left was very crisp and clear.
I'd be a little suspicious of those mirrors Cam. Even though they may be "stock" it may not be OEM. But in any case it won't hurt to ask for an exchange.
