anyone heard of 2006ZX12R ninja?

Hey has anyone heard of if kawa is coming out with a ZX12 for 2006,my local dealer says it didn't show up on his list for 2006,but got hold of another dealer who says they are.Which one is telling the truth?It would be nice to find out cause noone hasa 2005 for sale anymore without going out of state

Eh, well sometimes you have to have this little thing called patience and wait for someone to log on to the board who does know.

That being said I havn't heard of them discontinuing the 12 so I would assume it will be there next year. I'll say it again though, wait till September for the Kawasaki bike show in Las Vegas like the rest of us have to

Yea, I saw a small article in one of the recient bike mags about it. I forget what the mag was, might have been Motorcyclist. I dunno. I think the bike is "claimed" to have about 190HP. If it does, its gonna be sick.

I saw an article in cycle world (that I did not pay alot of attention to) I think it was a spy report on a new ZZR1200 or ZZR1300. Kawa is going after the Busa. They got into piston speed, bore and stroke trying to figure out the redline and peak power. It was tremendously high. Over 190 hp. Of course this is all conjecture on their part. Sounds interesting though. They say it will be faster than the Busa. (Until the next Busa comes out.)

The 12R is a much better all around motorcycle than the Busa. I hope they don't change the 12R too much. I've heard multiple rumors about some mods to the 06 Busa. This might get interesting.

The 12r is a great bike, but lets not get carried away...

However.. I called my dealer yesterday about the last busa on his showroom floor... he told me to wait a month and get the 06 1400cc Busa..

no, it was definitely ZZR. I think they are going to try and match the busa, which is more of a disguised drag bike than a race-ready sportbike.

I'm going to have to agree with spdrkt here... The ZX-12R is a better all around bike. It can go almost as fast if not just as fast as a busa plus it handles way better when you go to turn it.

Why is it when you find a model you like they decide to stop making it. I can see making it more powerful better body mods, stronger engine.Maybe thats a sign of old age Don't like change.I heard from my local dealer that he doesn't offer a 06 Zx12,they are only going with the ZZR13.Now if you believe him. It will probabbly come out in 07 but your guess id as good as mine.

9R's became sport cruisers. It would have been nice to see Kawi go a different direction with them.
