'03 KX-250 Throttle

The throttle was sticking on my KX-250, so I replaced it. The throttle worked okay, but it still didn't have that factory-fresh "snap" when I twisted the throttle and let go. After about a month, it is doing the same thing.
-Did Kawasaki have a throttle issue for this year?
-Suggestions on how to fix it.

Here's a couple of suggestions: make sure the grip is not rubbing against the master cylinder body or the other end of the grip is not rubbing against the end of the bar. If it is, just loosen the throttle and slide it back a tad.
If neither of those are the case, then detach the cable, remove the throttle assembly and check for any foreign substance on the bar end or inside the throttle sleeve. Some light lube can be applied to the the bar end before re-assembling. Vaseline is good.
