81 Kz550 roll on hesitating

Hi all,
Just cleaned and replaced the jets/float needle. The bike runs way better, but has a hesitation as I roll on the throttle. I've replaced the air box with individual pods. Any idea what the issue may be? Larger jets?
Thanks in advance!

I'm assuming the carbs have diaphragms? Did you check them for pinholes? Did you clean the other jets? I just went through this on my ZN700 and I used a weld tip cleaning kit to make sure all the orifices were clear. Put a bottle of Gumout for high mileage engines in a tank of gas an see if that helps.

An 81 KZ550 should have mechanical slide TK-22 carburetors.

Here's a site with a bunch of info for the KZ550, especially the carbs & there may be jetting guidelines.
