You gotta be nuts to do that out of the last corner on the last lap of a race you're about to win... with one hand ![]() Macio is my favourite MotoGP rider! He pulled a pretty sick slide at Mugello this year too in practice, if anyone remembers. And an unreal one at Donington last year, also during practice. The man likes to get his ride sideways.

Remember Gary McCoy in the 500s at the end of the 90s? That guy was crazy! He's actually the rider who started the powerslide mania, in 500s anyway. After riding behind him at Imola, Valentino got hooked and just took it to the next level with the much easier to slide MotoGPs... remember the sick slides he pulled at Suzuka on the Repsol Honda in 01/02? Insane...

To tell you the truth, I'm also rooting for Hayden. The press here gives him a lot of slack, saying he's not a champion, he doesn't know how to win races, and he doesn't know how to lead the pace out front. That may be true, but I still think he's a fighter and a hell of a rider... maybe not as effective as the top guys, but then none of them chuck the bike around and treat it with as much aggressiveness as he does ![]() I think he put in a hell of a race at Philip Island on Sunday to finish just 2 back of Rossi and predict that he will hold on to take the title this year

I root for Hayden not because he is American (though that helps) but I am a bigger fan of Kenny Roberts.

i like the underdogs.
jamie "boy" hacking would be one of them. as far as rossi goes. yes he is a god of spin, but man i just get tired of his cat and mouse riding. how many times have you seen him hang a bit back to just rocket out front to finish. if your gonna embarrass someone just do it off the top. |

It's all about tyre management strategy. I do not disagree, however, that it doesn't always make for very good racing.

Im sorry guys but I have to go with Pedrosa.. yeah yeah so what if I am Spanish as well?
I love repsol team ever since mick Doohan was on it (I think I was about 8 years old if not younger) I love that paint job... yeah yeah I gess hayden is good too lol Too bad honda only offers the paint job on the liter hondas... if they offered it on their 600 line I would not be riding a kawi (and I love my kawi!) In Spain (this summer) I saw a 125 with that paint job my jaw dropped at the same time I started lauging! It doesnt seem to be a good paint job for a 125....

Not fond of Pedrosa because he weighs as much as a young girl...I mean cmon what a hack. While every other rider weighs like a normal man...He comes in weighing like hamster. Less weight to carry on the bike thus a huge advantage. Weight restrictions I say...He should be in horse racing.
