Where did my riding buddy Chris go???

hey everyone, so my buddy Chris got a bike a few months back and for weeks and weeks all we talked about was riding riding riding. And how excited we were to be able to ride together when the weather got nicer! Well he has been dating this girl who , well ill say it, hates me, so she wont let him ride with me.

But come on, were just riding, were on bikes. I keep telling him, he should put his foot down and tell her hes riding with whoever he wants. lol who out there agrees?

although sometimes i will choose a girl over riding but, she'll never tell me who i can and cant hang out with...specially if its a guy

Since it hasn't been said, I'm betting it's something like this...you have a 'connection' with him through bikes, that she'll never have and probably more attractive than her, so she's jealous. Why he's not standing up for himself and fighting it, well, that's only a question he can answer. Sucks when it happens, but sometimes you lose friends to bad relationships. He'll come back around one of these days and realize riding is much easier to deal with than relationships.

Because I have a boyfriend and he has a girlfriend and he and I are just, well we WERE great friends!

Yeah, that sucks. My wife lets me ride whenever unelss it interferes with family night on Sunday. The key is at least I am married...If it is a girlfriend tell him to tell her we were friends before we met and and will be friends after she is gone.

Yeah I hear that! I ride whenever and if anyone told me when and who I can or cant ride with, they'd be gone! Riding comes first baby!!!!
