Big Guy Role Call

So my wife and her sister have apparantly been having some fun at my expense laughing it up behind my back because I'm 5'11 and 240lbs riding a Ninja 500R. The joke? Big guys don't ride crotch rockets.....she says she never sees big guys on sport bikes, only cruisers.....so, how many big guys do we have here who like going fast?

5'7" 190lbs - 123mph. Cruiser...Not yet but I would like two bikes one day. My wife says I look like a tank since I am broad. So I am a tank on a bike =)

Well, I'm a cruiser guy all the way, but my nephew is 6'6", 290 lbs. and rides a 'Busa.

I'm 6'3" and 250lbs. My old Ninja is big, old and heavy like me and it'll still do 160mph! If me and the bike hit a little person in a Smart Car they're in for a world of HURT!!!LOL

Well, my wife is a Harley girl, her dad rides a harley, her best friend, etc. I'm the only sportbiker in the group. That and of course they think my armor looks stupid.....I have a Joe Rocket UFO jacket, a full face helmet, gloves and since it's too hot to wear over pants, I use those Alpine Stars bionic knees........they wear denim vests or a rock&roll T-shirt or something.....they think I look stupid with armor, I think they look stupid behind me.

I'm 6'4 260. More tall then big as I'm muscular but still..

Anyway my cousin is about 6'8 and use to ride a gsxr, recently traded for a goldwing. Older then me though, pushing 40.

My wife doesn't ride, just her dad and friends. She wants to ride on the back but I keep telling her to get her own bike....it's hard to get that 500R up to "scary" speed or take a corner with someone on the back....it's light, doesn't have the firmest shocks, I'm heavy, etc.

I thought about trading it in to get a Classic 900.........but I think I'll hold off for now. In the interim I should just buy a Vulcan 500 and smoke that fat Harley 1400 and Sportster 883.....you think it'll do it? I hear it will......and I love an underdog......especially one that bites.

ummm.... Well, I'm 6'-0" and 240, and I ride a cruiser , but that doesn't mean that I don't like to go fast. I love to go fast , but not when I'm riding 2 up (and I won't apologize for that either, so don't ask).

Ironically enough.......I'm not too big for a Vulcan 500......it feels pretty comfortable....not that I'd go across state with the stock seat, but I can do a few hours on it. The controls and pegs are alright and my wife doesn't think I look stupid on it......

im not so much heavy as i am tall. 6'5 200lbs and ride a 650R...havent been called "goofy looking" yet, all i know is the gf thinks i look, what she likes to call "cute" on the bike. Dont really know if i like being cute on a bike but if she likes it then thats all that matters huh?

My BF is 6'0", about 250 (might be 260... I feed him well), and rides a CBR900RR (and lookes darned good on it! )

We joke that we might add a cruiser to the stable one day, but that doesn't mean we'll give up the sportbikes!
