MODS 4 an 06 636

Hi Guys & Gals I've spent the last few days looking through the forums for the answer to my questions, the serch function didn't turn up much either.

What mods can i do to get the most out of my 636 (mods that don't involve opening the engine up)

It depends on what you want to do. I also have a 05 636. Put on a yosh slip on, power commander, and air filter, and its really damn fast now. I was impressed by how much power it had stock, but it really doesn't compare to how it runs now. I still haven't got use to the mods yet, cuz i just put them on this week, but it has more power then I need. If you want to make it fast, thats what I would do. You can also put on stuff like a steering damper to make it handle better. I'm sure there are some other things that you can do, that I'm not aware of.
If you want to make it fast, I would do that route.

full exhaust...power commander...air filter...and if you dont mind sacrificing a few MPH top speed you can go 2 up in the rear sprocket...

I want it to go Faaaaaaast, i was under the impression that the standard ecu was well maped?

It is, if everythings still stock. Which in the case of an aftermarket exhaust, air filter n such, it wouldnt be.

There is so much to do on a bike...Look at what is on my bike. Alot of it really depends on what you will be doing...I like twisties. As AZ said nice ties are a good start.

Does anyone know anything about the Power Commander quick shifters?
Are they any good?
