So I took my day one MSF and I went to the dealership and sat on my ZX-6R. It felt PERFECT, the drop was just right and the bike felt dead on. They're cleaning it up, but since I couldn't get a ride to the dealership I had to leave it again. Tomorrow after final day of MSF I'm going to pick it up no matter what.
I had one scary bit on the MSF where the throttle stuck during a breaking exercise and I flew through the braking zone. It spooked me a little, which is part of why I didn't push to pick up my bike. I just wasn't mentally ready. I'm hoping tomorrow will calm my fears and make me more assured that I'm not going to wreck my first time out. That's why I'm paying the money, that's why I'm taking the course. All in all, it was a good day and a lot of learning. Tomorrow becomes the test of how much I am confident versus how much that bike sucked. It was a beaten to crap Ninja 250 that had a slacked clutch cable and a really finicky throttle cable. Just turning the throttle to tension the cable would rev it up so far that it would kick you. That and of course the clutch had NO feel to it whatsoever. I kept stalling it after the engine had warmed up and revved down. Oh well. Tomorrow we'll see.

glad your bike feels like it's going to fit comfortably. a comment on the MSF, I have spoken with a few friends who have taken the MSF and gotten stuck with a crapper bike. I think they need to take more careful care of their bikes to make sure that they are mechanically in good working condition before they put first time riders on them. I live in oregon and we have our own MSF style thing here and when I took it the bikes were all very solid.
