Default Help me with a custom paint job on Ninja 500r

Hello,
I'm new to these forums, been reading for about a month now. I've always wanted a bike, read lots of threads and posts and my plan is to take the MSF course as soon as possible, and get my bike by thanksgiving. I'm planning on getting a Ninja 500r, because i'm a big guy (6'2" 230 lbs) and figure I can learn on that bike, and it will hold me for a while. I plan on getting full gear when I get the bike, I'm taking the safe route, don't worry : )

Anyway, my back story aside : )

I was thinking of a custom paint job, eventually on the bike I'll get. Just wondering what you guys think of this one, it's a rough draft. I'm not sure it will work, I'm thinking the graphic wont work as pretty as a color scheme and design, but gimme your input.

My favorite version:

Without "Ninja" on the tail:

Black Version:

I was also thinking of a black and red color scheme, where a black bike has red design in it, with a sort of slashed in type font of the Japanese character Ninja...

Is it too cliche? haha thanks for your input.

Dude is that the 07? Have you seen those in person? The color is aweful in my opinion its more orange than yellow. I like the graphic you gonna do that in vinyl or airbrush?

yeah it's the 07' I agree with you on the color, I was planning on having a brighter yellow anyway. I was thinking of having in airbrushed down, but I threw together this as well. Rough draft of course heh.

OK - I'll play. Keep in mind that this is my personal opinion and you asked for it.

The artwork is excellent. But I don't like the design. I'm assuming that's suppose to be a Ninja on the side, but at first glance it looks like a rice farmer with bad nails.

I think personally, you should get a full fairing kit for it, then do that design on it.

I want to get a custom design on mine too, a Norse god specifically, or maybe a KISS member, depending on which I choose.
