I just bought a new Scorpion CF Oval slip-on exhaust which should be here Monday. Last night i decided to remove the "pancake" as we like to call it (stock exhaust). After finally removing it and the two cables from the exhaust valve...i'm confused. I know from reading other threads i'm not going to need these cables any more, but i'm curious what you guys did with them. Are they just hanging out under your rear cowl/seat area?? Did you cut them?? Don't think i wanna cut though

I don't have any info for you but I'll be curious to know about this if I ever do the same thing.

Wow I just realized I havent posted in a while o_0
Anyways, as far as your situation, just take um all off. Once you get the new exhaust you'll have no need for them because the aftermarket doesnt use it. So I guess for now just put it in a safe place in case for some odd reason you need to put your stockie back on

I just stuffed mine in under the other wires an stuff....Would be to much hassle to re route them ..Was un beliveable how much stock exhaust weighed over my 2bro slip on,but what a difference..Runs a lil more richer(pc3 req)with the pipe and k/n and the sound...sweet mutha of gawd...nice low grunt.

I know what i'll be doing 2nite after the gym...can't wait to hear it. I'll post pics and video of the new exhaust cause i don't see any out there for the Scorpion exhuast.
