I have a California model 1997 ZX7R. I will be putting this bike on the track soon, and I wanted to get some advice on the emissions parts.
It seems that this bike is chock full of emissions canisters, and vaccum stuff. My question is: How much of this stuff can I remove, and what do I need to do? Reroute some lines into the airbox, etc.? I know some, if not all can be removed without effecting how it runs. If anyone has any suggestions, or links to reading on the subject I would really appreciate it. Thanks! |

The people racing are going to be happy about having another racer join them: Si I would contact the track, or the group that you will be racing with and not only have the straight answers from someone actually racing in CA but meet several of the people that you will be racing with. It's kind of nice to have people that you know racing at the same time, and you will probably get some really great pointers about people and tracks before you ever see them.
