Default Another ex500 / 500r exhaust question..... please read

i know its been all over this board but i was just wondering if anyone out there has any personal, or knows where any sound clips of exhausts for a 500r can be found. I know that a main factor in buying a new exhaust is its sound and tone. I just got a 00 500r and am wondering what exhausts sound like on it.

does anyone have any sound or video clips for these exhausts.

(1) Jardine 2:1
(2) H & V 2:1
(3) Sarachu slip-ons (other than http://www.keycruncher.com/ex500/mods.htm )
(4) cobra f1 or f1r slip-ons

any other exhaust sound or video clips?

im just trying to shop around for sounds, and all ive seemed to find lead me to the 2 exahusts at http://www.keycruncher.com/ex500/mods.htm and i was just wondering if anyone knows af any other soud or video clips that would be helpful.

thanks a lot.

I've heard that the 500 sounds bad with aftermarket pipe. I disagree...

I have the V&H 2-1 exhaust on my 500R. Been trying to get sound clips that were decent, but every attempt has failed. The recording always sounds like a very ticked off 500cc dirt bike

If I get a chance before she goes up for her winter hibernation this week, I'll make another attempt for ya. Maybe I'll have better luck with the camcorder.

Edger at Speedbike Racing that sells the Sarachu slip-ons sent me a link to three videos he took of them on his race bike.

http://www.speedwerksracing.com/exx-sarachu1.mpg

http://www.speedwerksracing.com/exx-sarachu2.mpg

http://www.speedwerksracing.com/exx-sarachu3.mpg

Can hear it best on the third one. Other two, as he has no air filter box his carbs are very loud.

but then the only option after that would be sarachus at nearly $300 which i refuse to spend $300 on mufflers that dont produce any hp, and on a bike that i dont intend on having for many years to come.
