Ok my turn...These pics are from Mines Road, in Livermore...Great road to for twisties especially the first pic which is really a narrow and twisty part of Mine Road that goes to HWY 5. Tough road to make a mistake on but fun if you can handle it. The other pic is another part of Mine Road that goes to Calaveras - Fremont/ San Jose. Another tough road...
Fun area to ride and definitely pretty sites.

This is all I have at the moment. I should have some better ones in a couple of weeks.

(Old photos removed from photobucket.)

Thanks Zed. The first one though you can not look at scenery unless you pull over...There are just wayyyy to many sharp turns and fallen rock to deal with...The road claims quite a few dropped bikes a week. My friend who I took up there said "No mas" to it...It scared the crap out of him when his rear skidded over a rock. No where to really go down except into the mountain or down it =(..I like it and am going to the Calaveras side next week.

I hadn't posted in this thread b/c I don't have a scenic view and my bike is pretty stock. I still love her though.

As always, click the link in my signature below for all my pix.

There were only 1,500 miles on her when the pix were taken. I'm also in the desert. She hasn't seen rain yet... Just that ever-present, fine dust which seems to coat everything here.

Yeah, that ever-present, fine dust looks even worse on black. Drives me insane how much the tiniest dirt or smudge spots stand out, but oh well, the price you pay for the beauty of black.

Finally have a nice day yesterday, and remember to bring my camera. Ran for a 45 miles ride and took some pics.
