Thumbs down Ron Ayers Sucks

this dealership for parts really sucks.

1st they they tell me my parts are on back order for a couple of weeks by mail (when i placed the order on the phone they were instock). Keep in mind that I was expecting the gaskets to arrive, not a letter that states sorry we don't have them. So i order them for a local dealership for a higher price. i figured what the hell I will have a 2nd set when ever the ron ayers parts get here. Then after a week my parts show up from ron ayers, after i recieved the parts from a local dealer in 2 days. so really there was no need to order from the local dealer then:

2nd: they sent the wrong gaskets, after I spoke with one of there sells people to make sure the right parts were ordered.

3rd: i call to send them back, they give a RA number. all is good right. wrong my gaskets did not make it back in there 10 day window return policy. so they returned the wrong gaskets back to me. after they sold me the wrong parts.

Just some advice find someone else to do business with.

WHY do you not go to a franchised dealer?

Absolutely LOVE ronayers.com. Not only did they have parts for a 10 year old bike (GSXR 750), they beat their own order fulfillment window by 3 days. Did I mention I LOVE these guys? When it comes to factory resto's, I'm not going anywhere else. And I love the fiche section, it's been a HUGE help putting this bike back together and getting it right. Never had to call or anything, just ordered right off the fiche.
All I can say is that you must have had an isolated incident. Or maybe you were a jerk to them on the phone and got what you deserved. Or maybe they just don't like Kawasaki's. 2 things: know your bike, and use the fiche section properly. Can't go wrong.

2nd: not honda

3rd: was not a jerk till they sent me the wrong parts, that i paid to send back

4th: yes there are errors on the microfiche

Sorry to hear about your mishap. Hopefully they'll make it right, but I don't blame you for being upset if all things are as you claim. I've ordered from Ron Ayers before and have had no such issues, although the shipping was a bit on a slow side once. I was in no rush, so it didn't bother me too much though.

When in doubt, check the Kawasaki site's fiche (which SHOULD be the same as Ron Ayers, but part numbers do change from time to time). They, and ONLY they should be considered the authority on such things, and I wouldn't be surprised if even their site contained some incorrect info at some point.

Good luck getting things taken care of!

+1 it used to be dealers were high but now days when you figure
in the cost of shipping you can often get within is couple bucks
of the best internet price. Plus the UPS guy likes to throw my
package in front of my front door for anyone to walk off with.
I orderd stuff from motorcycle warehouse and had them send
it signature required and the Fed EX guy made up a signature
no one around here has heard of and abandons my package
along the side of my house.
