Are they fixed or adjustable links ??

Normally you will need to suspend the back of the bike to relieve the weight from the suspension so you can remove the links and replace with the modified ones.

Depending on how much they lower the bike you may need to cut down the side stand otherwise the bike will sit to upright making her prone to falling over..

BEWARE Make sure you are confident that the bike is supported well enough otherwise you can knock the link securing bolts out and end up with the bike collapsing onto the rear wheel/fender and or bouncing onto the floor

A couple of extra pair of hands either side of the bike for safety is preferable, Thats two people, four hands

Usually the lower kit instructions will give you an idea as to how much to lower the front end............

But if you have none then a rule of thumb is to drop the forks through the yolks 10mm...

Again you will need to support the front this time and loosen the yolk pinch bolts top and bottom..

As the back end, assistants are a bonus in case the front drops suddenly and requires you to replace the front fender

you could find someone with a welder to cut and weld it or find an adjustable one.
