1981 ltd 550.. battery acid...

hello everyone, im new here and so is my motorcycle. i picked it up a few weeks ago for $200. 1981 Kawasaki LTD 500, needed a little carb work and a battery. I took it to the local shop to get it up to par for the summer, just registered it yesterday and took it out for about 2 hours this afternoon. when i got home i noticed that the left exhaust pipe had some stuff on it. after further investigation i able to find the battery drain hose not where it should be... it dripped all over my chrome exhaust pipe while i was riding. Does anyone have any suggestions on anything I could do to clean it up a bit. I took some common chrome cleaner to it and it really did nothing

Hi Austin and welcome to the forum - I haven't found anything yet that works on acid spills.
