Dose the Ninja 250 have the power to climb hills at freeway speed ?
Not to steep. The climb out freeway 8 to mount laguna which is a 4-5000 foot climb with some 6% grades from San Diego ? Just wanted to ask and see if anyone has "climbed mountans" with there 250 ninja. thanks for any help

you may have to shift down but the bike will do fine. dont ask it to do 100mph and it wont complain.

Been on the 8 F'way with my Ninja 600(point of reference) and have ridden a steep hill (taller then 6%)with the 250 over the Ventura County line with no issues. Kick down a gear or two and keep going. heck a 4 banger car has issues climbing that hill.

Awsome now i sure i am going to get one thanks for the Help. I am really looking into buying the 250 as soon as i can get the money, all i hear is good things about this bike
