Looking for new windscreen

I ma looking for a higher windscreen that the stock one for my 2001 ZX-6r (would be the same windscreen as the ZZR)... anyone have a good suggestion?... try and keep it cheap becuase i don't have a lot of spare cash on me... Links would be much appreciated!

I went with the Zero Gravity double bubble dark smoke shield. I really like it, but it was a little pricey at my dealer for $90. Luckily I had a $15 coupon for buying the bike there, so it only cost me $75.

I have the Laminar lip and not the ZG windscreen. I have heard from people who bought the ZG windscreen for 500s and 250s that it didn't do very much, though I can't attest to this personally. I bought the lip on the recommendation of people who'd tried both though. My major concern was wind buffeting. Neither seems to do much for wind noise.

The ZG windscreen definitely looks a lot cooler though.

I don't notice much difference between the stocker and the new ZG, but the looks are what I bought it for. I mean these are sport bikes so the windshield is pretty much useless.

Sorry I didn't see this earlier Jason, but I'd like to comment on your question.
I replaced the OEM screen on my bike with a Puig Double Bubble and it made a world of difference to me! It is extremely effective at moving the windblast higher-I used to have lots of helmet buffeting, now there is very little to none. I noticed the difference on the first ride after installing this.
I don't know if height makes a difference on its effectiveness; I'm 5'6" FWIW.
The bad news...is pricing. The very best online deals will cost you around $75 with shipping. You may try shopping on ebay or other motorcycle forums for a used one that would meet your budget.

I bought a Sport Bike magazine today to see what kind of neat stuff they had that I couldn't afford. LOL and they had an advertisement for Memphis Shades screens, this one looks like it is alot taller than the stock screen. The picture here shows it on a ZX6R. I don't know the year, but one of you 6R guys should be able to help with that.


I called the application hotline number listed on their website and the lady I spoke with said they didn't have one available for my 2007 ZX10R. Hummmm.
Maybe I didn't learn to read in kiddygarden, so maybe one of you highly educated folks can help me out with this. This is an application listing for a tall smoke screen from Kawasaki's web site.

The screen I want is the Cockpit Windscreen. Can one of you highly educated folks tell me if they have a screen for my bike?

I guess my attempt at humor was missed, so I will just ask the question. Am I correct that the application from Kawi says the 05-06 ZX6R is the same screen as my 2007 ZX10R? If that is the case then wouldn't the MS Cockpit Screen fit my bike?

Very carefully!
I can't flat-foot at stops unless I lean it a bit to either side. It helps if I scoot forward as much as I can on the seat.
