Sheesh...sux that a teeny tiny little piece of metal can wreak such havoc. When I had my little 250 a picked up a staple (yes, a STAPLE, like from an office) from somewhere that almost put me out of business for a little while.

my last tire picked up a small "brad nail" and cost me the replacement.

i seem to have a problem with invaders though.
i think this last one counts out at 5 for the bike since i bought it!!!
2 of those treads were invaded with less than 3k of mileage

The parts guy actually had the Road Attacks entered into the computer and I kinda just said in passing "How much are the new RoadSmarts?" They were $50 cheaper than the RAs, and he said I was the 4th guy that day that had ordered them so they just ordered in a dozen pair when they ordered mine. I'm just curious to see if their dual compound lasts any longer, if not, I'll be switching back to RAs.

LOL, here's our best road, that I ride pretty much every day at lunch. It's actually twistier than it looks. It's fun at 70-80km/h (40-45mph).

I just replaced my old diablo strada with a new Diablo Rosso, put about 20 miles on it today will have to see how many miles I can get out of it?
The Rosso seems to be a more sporty stickier tire than a sport touring like the strada.

Gotta say I'm loving these tires. About 1000 miles and the last 200 in pouring rain. Handled the "Wet Tar Snakes" of the Adirondacks quite well.
Thanks Mayo!
