Default lookin for riding jacket.
I'm lookin at this jacket. What is everybody's opinion on wearing sponsor type jackets like this.

P.S. i'm lookin at the black and gray one, to match my 07 zx6r in black.

That is actually my next jacket...I have the Joe Rocket Repsol textile jacket which is very similar...A very good jacket indeed. I am also looking at the Suzuki one...I love red, white, and blue...Someone came up to me who was riding a 636 while I was at the coffee shop...Said why are you wearing a Honda jacket...I laughed and said red, white, and blue. (ok there is some orange)

As much smack as you were talking about Hondas you must really like Red, WHite and Blue!!!

I like the jacket though. I Was looking at the Joe Rocket ZX jackets. Pretty nice stuff.

I just bought the Joe Rocket UFO jacket in grey and black it fits very nice and feels like it could protect you very well too, gretat summer jacket especially for are texas summers. I got mine for a 170$.

You bet! A good majority of my gear is red, white and blue. That is where the gixxer jacket comes in...I know not a Kawi jacket but you gotta love the color scheme.





Those two jackets would match any of my two favorite helmets...

My thing is, if you are going to protect, you might as well style at the same time. Would you go to a meeting in mismatched clothes? Price is also a factor.

I like that style of jacket and looked at the same one before I found this one on sale in a local shop:

I realize I'm advertising for free but who cares? I love my motorcycle and it's fun. Do what I did ... buy a bunch of different jackets!

(Strange ... photo isn't coming up. Oh well, it's a black and green Ku****ani leather jacket with "Kawasaki" written down the sleeves.)

LOL ... I just realized the problem - the name of the manufacturer has a "bad word" in it! (The four letter version of defecate) and the forum software is blocking those letters! I think I can figure this out ...

It retails for around $480 but I paid under $300 for it. It was the last one in stock and not an item they usually carried. Got lucky.

My next jacket will be an Icon Daytona in Stealth colors. Retail $350, but its perfect for my needs.

Thats a pretty nice jacket. I am looking at the Icon Motorhead Skull one personally. I am also going to buy a nice mesh jacket for the hotter part of the summer because black leather in the summer in Oklahoma = Dehydration from sweating so much.

ICON is cool and I said it did it's job in my turkey accident. Ride your gear all the time ladies and gents. I am living proof that you live through some spills both high (100mph) and low (15mph) if you are wearing your gear. Bike parts are cheap...Bodies are not.
