Default Gear color question

For the longest time I was set on all black and red gear. I realized a black leather coat, while offering great protection, will be way too hot in the summer. Now I have found the Icon Daytona Retro in blue and fell in love with it. I also found the Icon Domain Perimeter in blue anbd love it. I have the Titanium silver and red graphics that came out in 2006 for the ZX6. Do any of you all think blue gear with that bike will stupid or good or who cares if it matches as long as I like it and it will protect me in the case of a crash???

I don't think it would look stupid at all, that actually sounds like a nice color combo.

Are you going down a catwalk at a fashion show or are you riding? Get what you like as long as it fits right and it protects you. If I knew you on a personal level, I'd tell you to stop "acting like a chick".

Imo always go with grey/black/gunmetal gear, that way it matches your bike, and any future bike you might have.

I ride almost exclusively anything that is red, white, and blue...As you know I got an EVS jersey which has mucho armor and just got a FOX racing Jersey to put over it that is red, white, and blue...Matches all my helmets. I have two pairs of gloves and they are white. Boots are all white...I like to be seen and I wear the colors of the USA.

I wear blue or black or a mix. Bike is yellow, so dont care about matching. More of what works for the weather.

I originally was going to get the red, white, and blue Icon Retro Daytona jacket. I really like it alot but the helmet I was looking at to match the jacket was a 2007 model and is out of stock everywhere I could possibly find on the net. So I found a blue helmet I fell in love with and figured Ill just get the blue jacket. I really want the white for heat purposes and I just like the looks better. It has blue in it so I might just get the white one and blue helmet.

I would say, as long as you don't rape the simple laws of color combination (eg. you have a yellow bike and go with bright pink gear or something) you are fine.

Go for the blue if it's your favourite colour. I actually prefer the blue jacket to the white and red one you posted above

Still trying to match your accessories, huh? Does your purse match your riding boots?

I can't believe that you're still asking guys for their opinions...and then they're actually giving them!? Where does it all end!?

Oh and get the white jacket...it's a nice one and the helmet complements it.

D'oh! Did I just do that!?

Well I dont have riding boots so no accesorizing there. Yes you did just do that too. I really just wanted to know if guys actually gave a crap about matching colors and if they do which colors. You cant tell me you dont like the looks of your bike. Let me guess you got it simply because the handling and power. Not looks related. Haha sorry I have been at work for like 12 hours now so Im a little loopy.

The red and white jacket looks best...Then get a helmet with red, white, and blue and you are all set brother.

The first thought that came to mind when I saw the red and white jacket was Evel Kneivel. Not that there's anything wrong with that ...
