Default 02 ZX6R hard to start

Just got my bike out of the shop. Got full 30K tune up and few repairs. I''ve found out that it has full Akroapovic(?) exhaust system and "jetted" for that pipe. What does the "jetted" mean?

Also, due to the exhaust/pipe being jetted, I have hard time starting it. The guy started it right away, but whenever I tried to start it it just turns and turns but no start. He said leave the choke closed since it''s closed unless it''s cold out. Any ideas on why it doesn''t want to start?

will the bike being that lean cause it hard to start? if so, I guess it''s not jetted.. just changed the spark plug to NGK ones hoping it will do the trick but it''s still the same.. backfired and then started.. turned it off and tried to start it and still nothing.. any thoughts?

Use the choke anyway, it should solve your problem. Once the motor is going gradually let the choke out. try to keep it under 3000rpms while its warming up.

Jetting usually refers to carburetor jets being changed. Does your bike have a hand choke? My FI bike does not, but my carb'd bike does.

chokeing the bike should help
your carbs have fuel jets in them, so the guy installed
different jets and that is what jetted means.
the key question would be does this dude know what in
the hell he was doing when he (re jetted the bike)!
