I've had this happen twice in the past week. Seems like high school kids are into the whole squid community too, they just seem to idolize it, not realizing how stupid it really is...
Had some kids drive next to me and tell me to do a wheelie.. I did not oblige, i actually proceeded to let them get ahead of me.. 1:30am.. i figured drunks were going to perkins.. yup they were.

Oh I also came up on some mustangs on the a 3 lane road by me. I just simple pulled up next to them, looked over and then proceeded to go on.. Figured they were going to race each other.. I don't think they appreciated that cause the newer mustang then took off at about 100mph.
    Are you nucking futs?

There are a lot of fast cars out in the world. Not all are high dollar. Fasts cars are not the a dime a dozen. 90+% wantabes are a dime a dozen and just stupid.

Here is a video and comment from a friend.

Someone finally showed up for a fun race. I haven't raced in a year so I was itching to go have some fun. Like I said I was going to keep the boost low since my car is for sale and has sold, thus I was fully expecting to lose since I know what it takes to beat a litre bike. Joe's best time at the track was 10.50 @ 139.

Joe showed up on his shiney orange 2005 zx10r, it has a pipe, power commander and geared 4 teeth or some such ****. First race I started in 3rd and Joe launched like no mf'er I have ever seen before on any bike, and he destroyed me. All the other races I start in 2nd gear and spin a little then hook. Joe was also spinning/wheelieing, that ****er can ride.

I am pleased to say I had no stuttering or popping or other such timing error behavior, also with the new cam and fixed AEM I was going to 6500 rpm which is 151mph according to the trusty GPS. The races speak for themselves, I wouldn't say I won any of them but it was fun.

This will likely be my last video in this car.

People are just morons, don't get the fact of the matter is their car weighs at least 3000 pounds, and a bike 500 or so. My 69 Z is fast but I don't attempt to even race another car, let alone a bike, I've got too much money into the car to screw it up racing someone. It's just not worth it.

On the 500R I used to get crap from dumb-@sses in Altimas, Sentras, Focus's, Accords, Civics and the list goes on. I just ignored them because even though I would win, it wouldn't be "convincing" and it's just not safe.

I have yet to deal with any of that crap on the Z1--maybe it's the lack of fairings that makes it unappetizing or maybe it's the fact that the bike looks like it could rip the balls off of the Cloverfield monster.

I get the same dumb sh!t about once a week on my 20 year old ZX-10. Usually I just ignore it, but in my younger days, I was occasionally dumb enough to get egged on.

One was with an Audi S4 that actually surprised me a bit. I outran him out of the gate, but I gotta say, he slowly started reeling me in. I let off at about 130, since we were coming into a semi-tight sweeper, and I didn't trust the guy not to come into my lane. Never got to 5th or 6th gear, but after talking to the driver, he didn't have too much left in the car. Past 140, he said that even with the 6k worth of motor work in the Audi, I would have walked away from him. Guy was actually pretty cool, and thought that I was the one who revved on him at the stop light!!

The other one that cracks me up to this day was some middle-aged man in a mid-80's IROC. I was tooling down a deserted stretch of highway, doing about 80 or 85, when he came up beside me and started blipping the throttle. He did this for about a half mile or so. It got really annoying, he just wouldn't stop. I'd slow to let him go by, and he'd just pace me. Even down to about 45 or 50 mph, he just wouldn't let it be. I finally gave in, basically having no other option. I wound it up to about 100 in 3rd gear, smooth and slow, letting him keep pace. Then I turned to him, gave a wave goodbye, and cranked the throttle open. I saw his jaw literally drop as I left him there, and the look was just priceless. Even after I slowed back down to a respectable speed, I never saw him in my mirrors again. Think he really thought he had shot, but was left holding his stick-shift in his hand!

I don't get as many wannabe racers trying to race me on my Z, but I do get more "do a wheelie" motions. The other day two kids (probably 14 or 15) were giving me the "wheelie" signal and I just turned and give them the bird. The look on their faces was priceless. Yeah I may be an a-hole but even if I was a wheelie-squid, the road was REALLY rough and it was in heavy traffic. And I'm not gonna risk crashing, getting a ticket, blowing my fork seals, etc just to impress some stupid kids. They can get their own bike and trash it doing wheelies

My good pal has a vette Z06, so the supposedly fast vette.

Its fun to screw with him in his car.

I guess its pretty quick for a car, but even a normal bike can pull away from it, and a fast bike makes it appear slow.

My new zx14 is bone stock so far, and it leaves his vette like he ran out of gas.
I can hardly wait till it gets done up like i have plans to do to it.
He said he would never again say his vette was quick, and he now just says he likes his car, and wants to get a bike license.
He is not a rider, but sure likes the thought of a bike, and their ability to accelerate so effortlessly.

I do have to say the vette is fun for a weekend road trip when its just the two of us going though.

Different badges, different fenders, different quartet panels, different hatch and different front end, and different hood. The chassis is identical but the body has alot of little differences.

Some of those Lingenfelter Corvettes are mean. A couple years back, they had a twin turbo model cranking 1,100 HP out of the 5.7L block. Not sure what they've done with the 7.0L engine.

    A talon is a joke.

I get challenged all the time, and I just do not bother to ever bite, unless the car looks like it has serious potential.
Then if the road looks uncrowded, and safe I will give it a little up to a safe speed, then just back off, and cruise at my own sluggish pace.

Every time I take my newest bike the ZX14 out, I get all sorts of revving motors, and "Lets go for it" looks etc.

I just smile, and give them no satisfaction.

I do have to admit that the import car wannabees drive me insane on occasion with their retarded looking wings and the like, so I recently wasted an EVO just to basically tell him his car was a POS in reality.

I do hi performance work on vipers and if you could get one on street tires to run from a dig against a bike, there is a good chance for the bike due to the vipers make so much power they are traction limited. But there are a couple guys out there who have gotten them into the 9's at the track on street tires, but not most of the owners.

yeah i stopped and talked to the guy when he pulled into a gas station it was a supercharged LS7, he was running street legal slicks on the back and was pushing a crazy amount of nitrous into that engine Said it took about 8 months to build the engine and about 4 to get it tuned properly. And to think most people would have been happy with the lingerfelter corvette as is... aperently not this guy!

haha i cant count how many times i have done that. i remember someone was riding 15 feet of my tail for 10 minutes. btw i was going 65. i slowed down and waved them on like 5 times. if they would have just passed i wouldnt care but they didnt. eventually they passed me about 10 miles before i got home. i blew by them at about 120 and never dropped below 80.

    Haha, some great stories.

I had a guy lean out the window of his girls car. And tells me to a do a wheelie...In heavy traffic, and I'm not even at the front of the stop light. I just laugh and shake my head no. At the time I had not even tried a wheelie on my '91 Ninja 600r (not exactly a wheelie monster unless you slip the clutch at about 4-5K RPM). He then proceeds to call me a f*g (I'm thinking "you're the the passenger seat of a cavalier") and throws his hand out the window giving me the bird for the next mile.

I tried to keep my cool, but don't take kindly to morons. Weaved through traffic and left em behind....I really wish I had a length of steel pipe to smash his hand, as it hung out the window, but I guess that would be a "wrong" thing to do.

I've had my hand in a window up to my elbow shaking my finger in a guys face after he tried to take my lane. I was going to punch him but I didn't know if I would knock myself over when hitting him.
