Awesome, thanks for the speedy replies! Very good to know, I'll keep it in mind when making traffic decisions.
Placing my order for frame sliders this week actually. I think I might have to make a couple cuts in my plastic though. ![]()

I bought some sliders for my bike, too, and I will also have to drill holes in the plastic. I know, it hurts a little bit, but it's better to protect the plastics with the sliders.

Why ??? - No sliders available yet? - Check your dealer. They should have some that come with extra brackets so you don't have to make any cuts. |

I don't do a lot of "+1" posts and stuff. Most are totally legit. I've earned my ranking, once I hit it. I just want to know... TELL ME ... What's the magical number !!! ??? !!! |

Think I should wait for some to come out, or just make the cuts?Another question, I have a wiring diagram of my bike for my alarm system, the wires are color coded of course, but I have a hard time figuring which is positive. For example, the blinkers are yellow and black... I assume the black is negative, but some clarification or any advice would be appreciated!

The dealer may not have Kawi-Brand sliders (which cost a ton more), but they have access to a bunch of catalogs. I could be wrong, you may have to do some cutting, but there are so many slider companies out there and they know people prefer non-cut sliders. Check online. Make sure they say 2008 since there's a few differences compared to the 2007 (LOL).
Dude, I'm far from a wiring expert. I lost track of which wire was which when I did my fender eliminator kit (w/turnsignals). I had 2 black wires, 1 had a stripe on it, the other didn't. I had no idea what that frickin stripe meant, so I "touched" the wires to what I thought it might be, I was wrong, tried the other way, it worked, so I went with it. That was a month ago and my bike hasn't caught on fire yet, so I must have been right. |

I made a startling discovery! The State of Illinois does not love me or my motorcycle. First, they pull me over, then they give me a ticket, then escort me off the interstate, then take my money
It was a great 1900 mile trip and the little 250 did great. It held 80 and 85 mph mile after mile and hollered more, more, more. I am glad I chose it over the Z14. |
