Do a search on this forum for lowering...I have responded and one other member I know of has also taken the plunge to lowering. I'll tell you now, lowering is an alternative. Cutting is as well, but it is pricey. Go to the sportbike section for these threads or as I said do a search.

Default 89 Ninja ZX600R Mods

Does anyone know a good place to look for mods for my bike? Aftermarket fairings, engine and drivetrain upgrades, fender eliminators...etc. And the list goes on...

Hey Guys, I'm new here. i recently bought a ZX-6RR with a Power Commander on it. I don't know much about them. The bike ran like crap till I disconnected it. I think it needs to be reset. Any suggestions or advice?

The manual should tell you break in period.

I would get the akrapovich slip on. I put it on my bike and didnt notice a huge difference in sound, but when i took it out yesterday it sounded so sweet now that its broken in!

Breakin question:
Kawa recomends <4k RPMS under 500 miles
<6K RPMS under 1000 miles
Oil change is done at first service which should be done between 600-1000 miles. The recommended break in is hard to do though as 4K rpms is not highway speed. Just make sure you shift a lot and slow down through the gears often.

Tell me what you think....I want to put flush mount turn signals on the fron of my bike, but I fear that drivers on the road won't see them. I don't want to be roadkill!!!

I just ordered some myself - I don't really think the blinkers sticking out an extra inch is that different than flush in terms of safety. Plus, the people that need to see the blinker will be on that side of the bike and should see it.

just my .02...
