I live in Atlanta and when I'm on the HWY, I run at about 165-175 on a 95 degree day. When I'm riding through the downtown area in traffic, I'm at about 195-208.

I have. I have a 2005 636 and there is a lot of vibration over 7000rpm. Someone told me they may be recalling them, does anyone else know about this?

All bikes vibrate. As far as a recall I am not aware of any.

Very nice, great pic, great color composition, and what a background.

Wow! Like the chrome. Not a chrome guy but when I see it tastefully done it pops! That bike pops!

Thanks, but not chrome. Those are stock wheels polished to high gloss. A real pain to do, but the end result is worth it.

Question New pipe

Hi folks! I've replaced my 2001 ZX12R with a 2002 ZX9R. Pretty fast, but I'd like to make it faster, at least until I can get my hands on a ZX10R. I've been thinking about getting a new pipe. Any suggestions on which manufacturer gives a better cost/benefit ratio? And should I replace the entire system, or will a new can do the job?
TIA -

hey everyone, anyone else around here that has a zx9r?

i think it would be a cool idea if there was a "sticky" for each model kawasaki makes under there class, one for the zx6r, the zx7r, nomad, etc etc.

btw,
I really hate the way the front fender looks. Is there any negative effects to riding with no front fender?

Also, is it safe to power wash the bike in and out?

and hi im new

Yup. 2002. Mine's even the same color, although I've altered that somewhat.

No! Water under pressure forces its way into bearings, past o-rings and other seals, and more. Not a good thing!
Just use a garden hose and hand wash it. Your bike will love you for it!

Default My 2002 ZX9R

Made a few changes to the appearance, added the sliders, and I'm thinking about a carbon-fiber windscreen...along with some carbon-fiber levers.

Looking good! Not fond of CF...How about a black chrome windshield?
