My ZZR 600 is in the shop and I need to have the top fairing repainted in a few days. Could someone do me a favor? Please measure the front "sticker" right above the front light that says Kawasaki.

Thanks!

You mean the one that's actually on the windshield?

Meant the one right above the headlight and below the windscreen. Looks like it won't matter anyways tho, the used top fairing I got from the UK was a piece of ..... so I've decided to buy a completely new one instead. Yeah, gonna cost me a lot more but wanna get out riding soon.

Btw, seen some links for windscreens in the US, anyone know where to get some within the EU? I'd prefer a smoked one, not too dark, and in the original size.

Just a tip. NEVER EVER run an electric fuel pump dry. This is a quick way to drastically shorten the life of the pump. Electric fuel pumps use the fuel as cooling medium. If I'm in doubt, I always err on the side of caution and fuel up early. I refuel my 10 at 120 miles because this gives me the flexibility to have enough reserve to get to a gas station if I'm out in the boonies.

I don't know for certain on the new model, but it may be like my '02 ZX9R and wife's ZX6R. Just use the key to pop-off the passenger seat. There should be at least one hook directly beneath that seat for you to poke your helmet-strap's D-ring. Then just latch that passenger seat back down over the chinstrap and the helmet is secured.
It's much easier to use than the old-style EX500 helmet lock (but I'm still keeping her!)

Check under your passenger seat. My 2001 ZX6R has the oil info. labeled on the bottom of the passenger seat. It states 10W40, 10W50, & 10W20 ,10W50. There's more info. also...hope this helps...

Went to the dealer, they didn't seem too "technical", just sorta guessed that 1040 would be the proper weight...

I should really buy a shop manual for this thing...
