Give yourself a little credit... Being a good rider is reason for your low lap times, not the bike.

My 2004 made a similar sound. My mechanic said it was just a "kawi thing" and it never gave mne any problems in the more than 10 k miles I put on it but I am no mechanic so take what I say with a grain of salt. Nice bike tho..I loved mine

Default I Need Assistance

Looking to lower the seat just a bit on my 2003 Ninja ZX9 (which I just bhought used). I understand that I can use a tool from under the main riders seat to adjust it. Here's my problem: I removed the passenger seat and tried to find the pull-latch 2 unlock the riders seat but cant seem to locate it!! Where should I be looking and if not there is there another way to unlock the riders seat???

I know it probably goes without saying but be sure bike is upright when you are looking at the oil thingy....I always have to have another person hold the bike when I look, I can't do both at the same time...but I am also not that tall and don't feel like I can securely hold the bike like that.

Hi everyone! I just bought a 93 zx6D for my first bike and im already 95% sure the carbs need cleaned out bad. It takes a while to start cold and when I do get it started it is choppy when I get on the throttle.

I am planning on cleaning the carbs soon but do not have much experience with bike engines. Is cleaning the carbs a lengthy process? Also, should I re-jet when I do? Thank you everyone ahead of time!

MY 06 636 made the same sound. I just got a 206 and I loved my 04 but the 06 is just perfect bliss.... my 06 does not make that sound but my 04 never had any mecahnical problems, my mecahnic said it was just a kawi thing so I don't really know what the cause of the sound was. I too am saddened that 06 is the last year for the 636....seems like kawasaki would have enough sense not to stop making a good thing.
