Default anyone seen/used these bulbs before?

I was checking for a some brighter rear tail light/brake light LED bulb and came across these on ebay. Anyone have any experience with these?

Or possibly recommend some good ones?

Nope, if you get them, let us know how they work out.

youre probably gonna have a real hard time getting them through the socket in the back of the lense.

i have the red led bulbs that have only one row of leds around the side. in my experience they arent as good as filaments during the daytime but at night they are crazy bright.

If your bike has a brake light sensor it might indicate in error the filiment in the bulb has failed.Other than the fitment and the visibility in the daytime I see no problem.

They are not bright enough to be a brake light in direct sunlight. The only one that is bright enough is the 3W luxeons I am running now.

3 Watt Luxeon 1156/1157 Bulb SPECIFICATIONS

These are the only ones that are brighter than the stock bulbs.

Thats a interesting bulb, is that a single LED in the middle of it?

Yes, but it's very powerful and able to be run at very high intensity because it's mounted on the aluminum heatsink piece that screws into the socket. Those things are BLINDING bright, I absolutely caution not to have the battery connected while you install them. If it lights up on you, there will be spots in your eyes for a good while.

The ones using multiple single LEDs have a heat dissipation problem when they try to get bright enough because they don't have an effective heatsink.

I have the 3W Luxeons in my brake lights and my work buddies were behind me and asked what kind of lights were in it because they were startled by the brightness.
