Ok, so I bought some Xenon headlights, how do I change the bulbs. I tried to take off the front fairing, but I couldn't get it off...cracked it while trying to take it off too. So, is there another way to change them?

you have to remove the black parts on the back of the front fairing to get to the housings. did you just get bulbs, or a full Xenon kit? if you only have the bulbs theyre not going to work because you need the ballasts for them as well.

those should work without any other hardware. Like soc_monki said, take the black parts aft of the painted fairings off to get to the bulb housings. You shouldn't need to remove the front painted fairing.

The tool the bike came with chewed into one of the bots and fused to it, I had to pry it off and in the process the leverage cracked the fairing, its small and not too noticeable.
Also, seems the bike can only handle one of the bulbs at a time, it blew the headlight fuse twice, gotta wait till morning and go buy another one. |

yea, those look like HID look-alikes. theyll probably be brighter, but not as bright as real Xenon HIDs.

full Xenon kit is about 150 bucks, give or take. just look at cars like BMW's or Mercedes, Lexus, Infiniti...any higher-end car. most all have HIDs stock these days, and you can tell how bright they are. they light up the road like its daytime! so yes, theyre worth it IMO.
i didnt plan on riding at night, but with my 2nd shift job i have to. i plan on getting some HIDs one of these days. the stock lights are pretty good, but HIDs would be a whole lot better!
